CAPTAN 480 SC can be used across a wide variety of fruit and vegetable crops. It is recognised as one of the leading actives to control apple scab.

• Apples: Scab, Bitter Rot and Sooty Blotch
• Potatoes: Early Blight & Late Blight
• Blueberries: Mummy Berry

• Broad-spectrum, non-systemic contact fungicide that acts immediately to penetrate fungal spores. 
• Acts primarily as a protectant that offers a different mode of action, which is ideal for resistance management.  
• Multi-site contact activity attacks fungal protein-containing thiols (-SH groups), interfering with several chemical processes, metabolism and cell division ultimately preventing spores from germinating.

CAPTAN is a non-systemic fungicide meaning it is not absorbed into the plant. It creates a protective barrier on the surface of the leaves and fruit that prevents fungi from entering. CAPTAN blocks the ability of fungus to produce energy which eliminates it over time.
